Fab stay in a non vegan or even vegetarian friendly town, nothing to complain about. Great and brilliant location including a bus station close to the place. Delicious food in the restaurants such as Gelataria Primavera, located 10 min away. The restaurant was GREAT, for dinner.

The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the room was quiet and huge, and the breakfast was delicious and great!

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful and made our stay most pleasant. The hotel has fascinating and attractive interior decor and was superbly transformed from a former in-town mansion. The hotel location was perfect - right in town for walking about and going to the beach and next to the mall and train station, which came in very handy on a rainy day. The breakfast was one of the best we had in four weeks in Portugal.

This more a regret than a dislike. It is too bad that the restaurant had closed for dinner, as it obviously was quite good based on posted culinary awards and our guide book. We would have eaten at least one dinner there.

The bed could be more confortable, the matress is not that great. breakfast could be improved and a swimming pool would really add to this beaultiful property.

A wonderful huge suite, very comfortable, in a lovely city. The hotel is a 500 years building, beatifully renovated, and the suite was very spacious. One extra bed was uncomfortable and was changed immediately to our request. The breakfast was delicious.

The location was great and brilliant, just next door to the Temple of Santa Luzia, centre of the old town and all the attractions the town has to offer. Lots of good local Restaurants & Cafe's are nearby, in a lovely area.

The breakfast is not 5*, Ibis offer better, the fruit was not fresh and neither was the juice and nothing hot on offer you have to order which saves on costs for the hotel but puts people off due to the wait, the hotel is located on a main junction so ask for a quiet room if you do not want to be woken early by passing traffic

Breakfast above average, ambiance enchanting, near to shopping, staff friendly and helpful, everyone spoke english.

Our room was large and nicely decorated, boasting a spacious bathroom with a grand four-poster bed. the staff was super friendly and went out of their way to assist us. Plus, there was convenient public parking available nearby. 🌟
